BFFT at the job fair of the BFD in Munich

Having direct personal contact with a potential employer is often the key to finding your preferred workplace. To this end, the German Armed Forces’ Careers Advice Service organises regular nationwide job and training fairs. In addition to employer organisations, they invite representatives of chambers of commerce, employer associations and educational institutions. On 15 October, in co-operation with the German Armed Forces’ Munich Technical School, a job fair for regular military personnel was held in the Ernst-von-Bergmann-Kaserne in Munich.

Well-known names from trade and industry, government agencies, chambers of commerce and trade associations presented their job opportunities and offered interested servicemen and women the opportunity to meet them in person. Presentations by experts and speed-dating for those interested in IT and IT professionals completed the programme. BFFT was also represented at the show by its daughter firm BFFT Aeromotive which was hoping to find talented and ready trained professionals amongst the servicemen and women. There are openings in aerospace technology in particular, because BFFT Aeromotive is currently carrying out a number of projects for its customer Airbus. Amongst other things, this team is developing the Web application EISMO (Euro Fighter in Service Maintenance Optimisation), which can analyse and optimise maintenance tasks for the Euro Fighter-Programme.
