Ask the CEO! BFFT Director in dialogue with employees

CEO Markus Fichtner was introduced to “Dialogue with the Director” during a BFFT site visit in America. Whilst there, he had the opportunity to spend a day studying the US company’s Facebook page and getting to know the corresponding corporate culture. There, every Friday, the employees can put their individual questions to the company’s management, and the CEO will, in turn, give his opinion on them.

Markus Fichtner took this idea back to Germany and soon after, “Dialogue with the Director” was introduced to BFFT in April 2015. The driver behind this initiative was the fast growth of the company and the loss of personal contact with the staff. The three CEOs Markus Fichtner, Frank Fichtner and Michael Mittag also saw these informal communication sessions as an opportunity to integrate new employees even more effectively into the vehicle development company.

Once a month, 15-20 employees are selected at random from the staff of the Gaimersheim, Ingolstadt and Neuburg sites to participate in these sessions and have the opportunity to direct the concerns which are uppermost in their minds to the Managing Director. These are, as a rule, extremely varied, covering to date areas such as personnel administration, academia, the layout of office space and worksurfaces, as well as the BFFT brand and its profile. The Fichtner Brothers also often talk about the origins of the Gaimersheimer company. The “Dialogue with the Director” sessions usually last an hour and half and the next one will take place in September. We are already looking forward to the varied questions our staff have for us!
