BFFT Fan-mobile on Tour in June 2014

The BFFT fan-mobile was on tour in June for the first time in 2014 and headed out from Ingolstadt to some of the coolest and trendiest lifestyle events (in sport, music, culture, etc.) to drum up applicants for the “somewhat different automotive engineering developer”.

First stop was cabaret artist Guenther Gruenwald’s performance in Neustadt an der Donau on 5th June. The comedian from Ingolstadt has been touring Germany since March with his new programme, “Da sagt der Gruenwald Stop (That’s where Gruenwald says stop)”, and guarantees a party mood. In Buergersaal, the Bavarian comedian had around 250 guests as well as the seven winners laughing.

Next stop for the fan-mobile was the international Comic Salon in Erlangen on 20th June. This is the most important festival for graphic literature in the German-speaking area and has played a decisive role in having comics recognised in Germany, too, as an art form. Across an area of 15,000m², the Comic Salon presented art and commerce, mainstream and avant-garde. A great number of new publications were unveiled to the public for the first time, and visitors had the opportunity to look over the shoulders of more than 300 artists from all over the world while they drew or signed their books. At the comic market, the seven winners were also able to find classics, rarities, much sought-after collectors editions, swaps and bargains for newcomers.

Also in June, the BFFT fan-mobile visited the 72nd International ADAC Norisring Speed Weekend in Nuernberg. Two days of exciting racing (DTM, FIA F3 European Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup) through the Nuernberg landscape and a meet-up for motor-sports fans from all over the world awaited the seven winners there. In total, over 130,000 racing fans visited this spectacular event at the Norisring. Whether it’s the drivers’ paddock, the vintage racing cars of the Race Classics or the show stage – the wide range of attractions off the track is a delight for not just motor-sport fans.

Next stop for the BFFT fan-mobile: MUNICH MASH/ Red Bull X-Fighters on 19th July.
