BFFT Fan Mobile on tour: Red Bull X-Fighters Munich

July 18-20, Olympia Park in Munich was transformed into an adventure playground for extreme sports, where elite international athletes from Freestyle Motocross (FMX), Mountainbike Dirt Jump and BMX Street showed off their spectacular stunts. After last year’s X-Games, BFFT headed to the action spectacle – right on time for the highlight event – with the BFFT fan mobile. Seven lucky winners were able to closely follow the action from a stand on Olympia Lake.

In the context of MUNICH MASH (Munich Action Sport Heroes), on July 19 the Red Bull X-Fighters entered, for the second time, the state capital and brought with them the crème de la crème of the international FMX scene. At the superlative motocross event, the 12 best riders in the world were up against last year’s winner Thomas Pagès and German youngster Luc Ackermann. With up to 30-meter-wide and 15-meter-high jumps, as well as foolhardy tricks, the motocross artists roused about 18,000 spectators from their seats. A particular highlight there was the setup: there was a floating track, for the first time in FMX history, on Olympia Lake.

Australian Josh Sheehan was the winner at this penultimate stop on the 2014 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour 2014 in Munich, with temperatures at a very summery 35°C.
