FC Bayern Stars at Audi driving experience center
On 23 September the Bundesliga professionals of FC Bayern Munich had an unusual date. A day after their 5-1 victory over VfL Wolfsburg, the players visited the Audi driving experience centre in Neuburg. When they got there, Thomas Müller & Co. received their new cars. In total, 50 Audi cars were given out. The most popular model was the Audi RS7 4.0 TFSI, which 8 players chose as their new car. After the official giving ceremony, the players were available to sign autographs for fans. Afterwards the record-holding club’s players took part in a special driving experience, which included handling drives in the Audi R8 or an off-road course, among other options. Finally, the racing drivers Markus Winkelhock and Tom Kristensen drove the German champions around the racing track in Audi TT Cup cars, making sure to give them an adrenaline kick.
has run the Audi driving experience centre since May 2014, and its customer centre also handles jobs in event management, customer support (including organising customer events and coordinating travel management) as well as technology/service (including vehicle conversion and maintenance). Employees of the Ingolstadt-based automotive technology developer hosted the Bayern players, among others, and made sure the whole special driving experience ran smoothly.
