BFFT supports Germany Scholarships at THI
The Germany Scholarship will support students who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and social commitment. In a ceremony held on November 8th, Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) presented certificates for the fifth time to new scholarship holders. 4500 of the more than 5000 students at THI applied, and 45 of these can look forward receiving this money. The Germany scholarship is funded in equal parts by the federal government and private donors. These include large companies as well as medium-sized companies, charities and private individuals.
Funding from the Germany Scholarship lasts for one year. Scholarship holders receive 300 euros per month, with equal shares coming from the federal government and from private companies. Currently a total of 26 Businesses, foundations and charitable societies support the Germany Scholarships at THI.
BFFT is also supporting two students next year under the Germany Scholarship scheme in order to establish contact at an early stage and get to know their potential future junior staff. BFFT CEO and THI-University Council Member Markus Fichtner was represented at the presentation of the certificates and congratulated both of them on their awards.
