BFFT supports charitable organisations with donations
BFFT’s workforce banded together in a show of collective support at a recent fundraiser for flood relief. Numerous employees voluntarily donated one hour of overtime to the cause, with BFFT rounding up the money collected to a total of 10,000 euros.
Against this background, CEOs Markus Fichtner and Michael Mittag each presented a donation check today at BFFT headquarters in the amount of 5,000 euros to deputy national preparedness director Dieter Hauenstein (Bavarian Red Cross) and Moritz Wohlrab, public relations head at Aktion-Deutschland-Hilft (Action Germany Helps). BFFT’s link-up with the Bavarian Red Cross and Action Germany Helps means the company is supporting two nonprofit organizations in flood relief efforts.
The Bavarian Red Cross is slated to use the funds to purchase an all-terrain vehicle for the Bavarian region, while Action Germany Helps will provide badly needed financial assistance to a daycare center in Thüringen that has been severely impacted by the floods.
BFFT would like to take this opportunity to once again express its heartfelt thanks to all its employees for their commitment!
