Youth Development: THI Scholarship Holders Visit BFFT
The German scholarships of the Federal Ministry for Education and Research enable both the federal government and private sponsors to support the top talents of tomorrow. It makes it possible for high-performing students to get an education, independent of their social origin and the location of their university. Such German scholarships were also awarded to 45 students of the Technical University of Ingolstadt (Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt – THI) in December 2015. The support lasts for one year, during which the scholarship holders receive 300 euros per month, equal parts of which are borne by the federal government and private enterprise.
The BFFT is also one of those participating in 2016 by sponsoring two students at the THI, in order to build contact with them at an early stage and possibly be able to win potentially top talents for itself as well. The two are studying in fields related to the automobile industry (User Experience Design & International Automotive Engineering) and a short while ago, were guests at a get-acquainted event in the Gaimersheim/ Ingolstadt Headquarters. There, BFFT Managing Director and THI University Council member Markus Fichtner welcomed them personally. After a short introduction to the enterprise and a tour through the workshops, he spoke to the scholarship holders about future entry-level career possibilities.
