Double! BFFT once again receives recognition as a top employer

Less than a month ago the Ingolstadt automotive engineering developer BFFT was recognised by FOCUS magazine as Germany’s Best Employer. This evening the company will additionally be awarded Top Employer Automotive 2015 by the Top Employers Institute – a “double” to start the year.

No one knows whether FC Bayern Munich will be able to win the double again in 2015 (German championships and German DFB cup). In any case there’s definitely a Bavarian double winner this year: the Ingolstadt automotive engineering developer BFFT will be certified as ‘Top Employer Automotive 2015’ this evening. Additionally the SME achieved second place in the employer rankings that were published 3 weeks ago in FOCUS magazine under the category of automobile industry/SMEs and therefore is one of Germany’s Best Employers.

Markus Fichtner, BFFT founder and CEO, is pleased about this successful start to the year: “We want to be an attractive employer for our employees. This is not only anchored in our vision, we also do a lot to make that happen. The awards from FOCUS magazine and the Top Employers Institute pleased me a lot – and are also the motivation for continuing this course.”

The Top Employers Institute (formerly known as the CRF Institute) records employee satisfaction at numerous companies worldwide every year: All participating companies go through the same examination process for this. They must fulfil high standardised requirements to receive certification. Employee incentives, like for instance, in the area of on-boarding, training and development, career and succession planning as well as benefits are rated.

Working for BFFT should be fun”, says Fichtner. Exciting tasks in the field of automotive engineering (driver assistance systems, infotainment and electrification) are a prerequisite. Besides, BFFT also offers its employees regular events, its own BFFT academy for continuing and further education, an employee suggestion system – and a company culture, in which the currently approx. 700 employees are not only on first name terms with their bosses, but also one in which they always find an open door at their offices.
