BFFT motorsport fans cheer on go kart drivers at the Ingolstadt Grand Prix
Feel that pure racetrack adrenalin! For the weekend of the 18th and 19th July, the Ingolstadt Fairground Car Park was transformed into a Go Kart track. 21 teams and more than 200 drivers gathered at the start line for the inaugural Ingolstadt Grand Prix. On the 900m long course, the top riders reached speeds of 85 km/h. And alongside the racing spectacle, there was a whole more on offer, with live music, culinary treats, and great ‘petrol head chat.
Some BFFT employees got front row seats for the Go Kart event, as the vehicle technicians’ Fan Seats were positioned right beside the race track. For two full days, racing fans got the chance to cheer the Go Kart drivers on through five, 90-minute races. And there was no skimping on the catering either, with cool drinks and delicious snacks laid on during the breaks to revive everyone.
In the first ever outing of the Ingolstadt Grand Prix, the wine tasters team battled through to take first place. A repeat performance next year is definitely not ruled out!
