Special Fansofa for the last home game of 2017: “SchanzenGeber” and “11 für 11” on the BFFT Fansofa

People with disabilities were also offered the chance to enjoy the BFFT Fansofa at the match between FC Ingolstadt 04 and Eintracht Braunschweig on 04 December, which was dedicated to the “SchanzenGeber” CSR* initiative and the “11 für 11” campaign. BFFT’s long-term partnership with FC Ingolstadt 04 and close cooperation with Peter Kundiger, press spokesman for the Agentur für Arbeit (agency for employment) enabled people with disabilities to experience a little more fun in the run-up to Christmas. They were offered the opportunity to sit in the front row of the Audi Sportpark and see the stars up close. Places on the Fansofa are usually raffled among company employees and others, but on the day in question, the seats were given up in favour of a good cause.

What is “11 for 11”?
FC Ingolstadt 04 and the Agentur für Arbeit launched the joint initiative “11 für 11” in February 2010. The aim of the initiative is to help people with a disability that are unemployed to find their way back into the local employment market. It is of great importance that every effort is made to exploit all possible potential, especially against a background of social responsibility and increasing need for skilled employees. Automotive technology developer BFFT from Gaimersheim in Ingolstadt has also been a part of this campaign for many years. One of our colleagues at BFFT already joined our team in 2011 through a cooperation with Lebenshilfe workshops.
Despite the cold weather, all present enjoyed a very exciting evening of football. Unfortunately, the BFFT Fansofa is now taking a winter break until reappearing at the match against Sandhausen in the Audi Sportpark on 23 January 2018. We wish the Ingolstadt team a successful close to the season in the last two league games of 2017 against FC Kaiserslautern and Union Berlin, and at the DFB Cup event in Paderborn!
