Roll it like BFFT: Sushi-making course at BFFT

BFFT has always oriented its campaigns to the interests of employees. Annual surveys revealed that cooking is very high on the list at BFFT. After a barbecue course with Natural Born Grillers in 2013, on June 3 a joint sushi-making course was offered for the first time.

Under the instruction of two experienced sushi masters, several BFFT employees had the opportunity to learn the delicious and healthy Japanese cuisine in the BFFT cafeteria at the Gaimersheim/Ingolstadt headquarters. Whether formed, rolled or pressed – in the course the participants learned the proper preparation of the different sushi rolls. In addition to basic techniques of sushi-making, e.g. special rice preparation, rolling Makis and cutting fish filets for so-called Nigiri, the employees learned what is involved in buying the ingredients and received more helpful tips and tricks from the experts. At the subsequent mutual tasting, they were all convinced that handmade sushi is delicious and had an animated chat about what was learned.

In this spirit, BFFT wishes you Itadakimásu – good appetite – and will plan further cooking events due to the high demand.
