Complete Vehicle Test Stands


The automotive industry today demands powerful and flexible test systems with a wide range of different components. To meet these requirements, BFFT offers special, modular product concepts which make it possible to quickly implement cost-effective test stands. The BFFT spectrum ranges from component carriers for hardware in the loop (HIL) and multi-bus systems to simulators and complete vehicle test stands.

Complete Vehicle Test Stands

Whether complete vehicle, infotainment, comfort or drive – BFFT manufactures test stands which are individually tailored to customer requirements. The BFFT test stands can be used to test vehicle networking and bus communication during the development phase of a vehicle. In series production, the test stands are used for quality assurance.

Modular Component Carrier HIL Systems

The BFFT modular component carrier makes it possible to install vehicle control units on individual modules. These are then integrated into a module carrier and connected to each other using Harting connection cables and SUB-Ds. The modules can be placed in any position on the carrier.

With CShark Desktop, BFFT is offering a modular automation solution that has been developed especially for the safeguarding of such complex infrastructures as
the Internet of Things and smart devices. Ranging from the simulation of the entire system and the activation of connected services to optionally connected hardware from third-party providers, the entire chain can be protected. Currently, CShark is already being deployed for the end-to-end protection of various mobile online services in the automobile industry. The flexible software architecture makes it possible for the customer to configure their test cases on the basis of
pre-developed test actions and to freely combine these test cases in test sessions afterwards. On customer request, test actions can be expanded or added by BFFT.
CShark desktop can be used as a single solution, as well as in combination with other labor-saving BFFT products. CShark UXT and CShark portal are examples of the extension options available.

Test assemblies for developer testing

In today’s automotive industry, there is a demand for efficient testing systems for all types of components, including battery management systems for hybrid and electric vehicles. Modern machinery requires sophisticated testing procedures capable of producing data for power, service life, efficiency, safety and comfort of components and systems in a way which is measurable and reproducible. It also has to be possible to simulate probing for thresholds under extreme ambient conditions.

ADAS model car

The ADAS* model car is an evaluation platform based on a model car with a 1:8 dimensional ratio for the development of future driving assistance systems and autonomous driving functions. The implementation of ADTF (Automotive Date and Time Triggered Framework) allows for a continuous toolchain from the model vehicle to the actual prototypes.
