Electronics Test Engineer (m/f) BO1205

Key Responsibilities

  • Interdisciplinary work in the field of the electrics and electronics automotive development.
  • Test, integration and validation of new components or systems in the field of infotainment, connectivity and body/chassis electronics including:
    • Requirements analysis
    • Test specification
    • Test execution both on bench and car
    • Reporting
    • Test automation development
  • Analysis of various sub systems of the car including requirements analysis, vehicle bus communication (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST) and diagnostic services analysis.
  • Problem analysis, issue identification, analysis of error causes and coordination of solution methods using specific tools for data acquisition (log, traces), data analysis, data management, diagnosis and debugging.

Professional Qualities and Skills

  • University degree, preferable in informatics, electronics or IT-related engineering (knowledge of mechanics or mechatronics is a plus)
  • Experience in vehicle diagnosis and testing processes
  • Knowledge of application life cycle management tools (requirement and bug tracking)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronical automotive systems (vehicle bus systems, vehicle networking)
  • Communication skills, openness, teamwork
  • Fluent language skills in English required, German or Italian desirable
